Raised in several suburbs
of California’s capitol, Sacramento, Katherine has a deep appreciation for the
arts in the local community. After inspirational experiences at community
college Katherine attended University of California, Santa Cruz to study
Printmaking and History of Art.
Since
graduating Katherine has worked to develop a professional portfolio as well as
a professional career in arts institutions. Katherine is currently working as a
graphic designer as well as developing her professional portfolio as a working
artist in the Placer County area. While primarily a printmaker, using
woodblocks and linoleum blocks to create original hand-pulled prints, she also
dabbles in watercolor painting, pen and ink, silk painting, and acrylic. For
